- Origin and destination ZIP codes or addresses

Mobile Phone Numbers & SMS Communications
Flair collects mobile phone numbers for the purpose of providing freight brokerage services and communicating with customers, carriers, and business contacts via SMS/text message. We take the collection and use of mobile numbers seriously and comply fully with all applicable regulations.
Why We Collect Your Mobile Number
We collect your mobile phone number for the following specific purposes:
- Sending shipment status updates, pickup confirmations, and delivery notifications
- Communicating urgent freight alerts, delays, or exceptions
- Responding to quote requests submitted via email or by phone
- Coordinating load dispatch and carrier communications
- Sending appointment reminders for pickup/delivery windows
- Providing customer support related to active shipments
Types of SMS Messages We Send
Flair operates the following categories of SMS messaging:
- Transactional / Service Messages: Shipment updates, BOL confirmations, delivery notifications, dispatch alerts, and load status notifications. These messages are directly related to services you have engaged with us for.
- Informational Messages: Responses to inquiries, appointment reminders, and account notices.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the number of active shipments and your engagement with our services. For transactional messages, frequency is driven by shipment activity.
Message & Data Rates
10DLC Compliance & SMS Consent
Flair sends business SMS messages using 10-digit long codes (10DLC) registered with The Campaign Registry (TCR) and approved by US wireless carriers in accordance with CTIA guidelines and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The following disclosures apply to all SMS communications.
How We Obtain Your Consent
Flair obtains consent to send SMS messages in the following ways:
- Verbal Consent: When you provide your mobile number by phone and verbally agree to receive text message communications, our staff record your consent with a timestamp.
- Written Agreement: Shippers who sign Service Agreements and Carriers who sign Broker-Carrier agreement with Flair consent to transactional SMS as part of their service enrollment.
Opt-Out (STOP) Instructions
To stop receiving SMS messages from Flair at any time, reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent to your number. You may also opt out by contacting us at sukhbir@flair3pl.com or calling +1 (208) 440-3535.

Re-Opt-In After Opting Out

How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: Arranging freight transportation, matching shippers with carriers, processing quotes, and managing shipments
- Communications: Responding to inquiries, sending shipment updates, and coordinating logistics operations
- SMS/Text Messaging: Sending transactional, informational messages as described in Sections 2 and 3
- Billing & Payments: Generating and sending invoices, processing payments, and managing accounts receivable
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Meeting obligations under FMCSA, TCPA, CASL, PIPEDA, and other applicable laws
- Safety & Fraud Prevention: Verifying carrier credentials, detecting fraud, and protecting the integrity of our operations
- Marketing: Sending information about our services — only to contacts who have provided consent
We rely on the following legal bases for processing your personal information:
- Contract Performance: Processing necessary to deliver freight services you have engaged us for
- Legitimate Interests: Operating and improving our business, preventing fraud, and maintaining the security of our systems
- Consent: Where you have provided express consent to SMS/Text for updates on shipment in progress

How We Share Your Information
Flair does not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for third-party marketing purposes. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
With Carriers: We share shipper information (pickup/delivery addresses, contact names, freight details) with the Carrier assigned to transport your shipment. This is necessary to perform the freight brokerage service.
With Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our business, including:
- SMS/messaging platform providers (registered 10DLC campaigns only)
- Payment processors/Banks
- Email service providers
All service providers are contractually required to protect your information and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or lawful request by government authorities, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Flair, our customers, or others.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on our website of any such change in ownership.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods include:
- Shipment and transaction records: 7 years from the date of the transaction (consistent with CRA and IRS record-keeping requirements)
- SMS consent records: Minimum 4 years from the date of consent or opt-out, whichever is later (TCPA compliance)
- Opt-out records: Indefinitely, to ensure opted-out numbers are not re-messaged
- Carrier credential records: Life of the carrier relationship plus 3 years
When personal information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data management procedures.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our website is a static website with pupose to provide infimation and ways to contact us. We do not use cookies and similar tracking technologies at this time
Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:

Children's Privacy
Our services are directed to businesses and individuals who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
